CYCLISTS are setting their sights on the final two events of an annual festival.
The sixth event of the Darlington Cycling Festival took place yesterday, when riders lined up for a 70-mile tourist trial around the Cleveland Hills.
The festival has also included charity rides and a treasure trail.
On Sunday, August 4, the festival continues with the Castles Ride, which starts outside Darlington's Dolphin Centre, in the Market Square, between 8.30am and 9.30am.
This will be followed on Sunday, September 1, by the Hell of the North ride, leaving the centre at the same times.
Entry to the events costs £4 and £5.50 with a T-shirt, or £2 with a certificate only.
For further details about the events, telephone Jeff Dawson, at Darlington Borough Council leisure services, on (01325) 388427.
