A MOBILE library will be making an extra stop on its journey when it visits the new Sure Start building in Darlington.
The service, run by Darlington libraries, will be visiting Sure Start, in McNay Street, every Monday between 9.30am and 11.30am.
As well as its regular stock, the mobile library now has a new collection of books, designed to appeal to children and adults.
The collection includes picture books, baby books, pop- up books, books in dual language, parenting books and story tapes.
A programme of activities is being organised for the summer holidays to further promote the service, including face painting and visits by authors.
