A NORTH-YORKSHIRE waste management company is celebrating after winning a major new contract.
Yorwaste, the company responsible for managing the disposal of domestic and business waste in North Yorkshire and City of York, has won a contract worth about £5m from Bradford Metropolitan Council.
The contract involves handling 70,000 tonnes of waste per year from a transfer station in Keighley, near Bradford
