A DOG who has been overlooked by potential owners countless times is in need of a home.
Penny, a whippet cross, is the longest standing resident of Deerness Kennels, in Langley Moor, having been there about two months. According to the centre's Linda Forsyth, the two-year-old - pictured above with kennels worker Amanda Sadler - would make an ideal family pet, but her boisterous nature would probably not make her suitable for children under 12.
