MILLIONAIRE Bruce Wayne has a rival.
The threat to Batman's reign does not come from Gotham City - but from Teesside.
The new caped crusader hails from Coulby Newham, near Middlesbrough, and was unmasked yesterday as none other than Graeme Shimmin, assistant manager at the Lingfield Countryside Centre.
Graeme donned the comic book character's costume to plug a night-time walk on the trail of bats and moths at the Mount Pleasant Way base tomorrow night.
His boss, centre manager Sam Garside said: "Bats and moths are fascinating night-time animals that many of us never get the chance to meet. This is a fun and ideal way to get better acquainted with these cute creatures.''
The evening will include the use of bat detectors, a moth trap and an illustrated talk, capped off with a traditional barbecue.
