Twenty people who between them have accumulated almost 840 years of farm service are being honours at this year's show.
The Yorkshire Agricultural Society is presenting them each with an engraved tankard, a certificate and a badge giving them free admission to the show for life.
Among those being honours are two men who probably know more about the showground itself than anybody else - the society's gardener Frank Balmforth and builder Don Hemingway.
They have each worked for the society for 38 years.
Other people honoured at the show included: Raymond Baxter, Boroughbridge, Peter Bellwood, Goole; Dennis Clark, Richmond; John Coates, Raby Estate; Alan Coldbeck, Masham; Robert Cole, Hutton Magna; Fred Cook, Whitby; Roger Crosier, Malton; Ernest Fletcher, Northallerton; Elsie Hall, Old Malton; John Hallett, Amotherby; Christopher Harrison, Seamer; Peter Lawrence, Amotherby; David Lee, Thirsk; Peter Richardson, Northallerton; Stephen Richmond, Helperby; Tony Rudd, York.
