The Farewell To Feethams exhibition which is dedicated to the home of Darlington begins its run today at the town's Arts Centre.
It is open until August 24 and will display black and white photographs taken during last season at Feethams in anticipation of the move to Neasham Road which is expected to happen around the New Year.
The collection captures fans watching football as well as those working behind the scenes and pictures of the ground itself as it enters its 120th year. The best 40 are being shown while all 1,200 photos taken are to be held in a permanent archive.
Organisers are confident it will appeal to supporters - and non-football fans alike.
The display includes archive photographs of Feethams, memorabilia from fans and the club, Feethams' Greatest Games as voted in an online poll and sound memories of older fans and former players.
The exhibition was organised - and mostly sponsored - by fans themselves with the idea came from Darlington Supporters' Trust, which teamed up with Darlington Camera Club while the display has been funded by Northern Arts and supported by Darlington Borough Council.
Quakers yesterday beat Halifax 2-1 in a training ground friendly at Maiden Castle. The trialists on show included left-back Ryan Valentine, midfielders Ben Morely, Alex Higgans, and Brazilian Volmair Manfrin.
New signing Matthew Clarke also debuted against his old team who had former Hartlepool forward Anth Lormor on trial. Darlington scored through Mark Ford and an Ian Clark penalty, with Lormor scoring for the Shaymen
Meanwhile, Darlington look unlikely to receive any cash from the sale of Sean Gregan after Preston North End turned down a third offer from West Brom for the midfielder. Darlington are entitled to 15 per cent of any fee after £400,000 after selling Gregan to Preston in 1996.
But after an offer of £2m, including performance-related payments, was turned down on Wednesday evening, Quakers look set to miss-out on a mini cash windfall.
Had Gregan moved to the Hawthorns for £2m, Darlington would have pocketed £240,000.
* A group of Darlington fans are looking for a pitch to use when they host their Hartlepool compatriots later this month in the name of charity.
The two sets of fans have got together to play a game in aid of Sport Relief but have had problems finding a suitable pitch to stage the game which is scheduled for July 28.
