THE Under-15 mixed boys and girls took revenge for a home defeat by Sunderland last month with a hard-fought 9-8 away win.
Anna Richardson was outstanding, scoring goals and getting involved in all aspects of the match.
Richardson was well supported by the rest of the young Durham team who all played with improved skill and determination.

Squad members Carol Mohan, Angela Winstanley Smith and Samantha Mitchell were all an integral part of the Great Britain Junior Women's Team which began their European Championship campaign in Portugal with a 10-5 defeat to Greece. This was an excellent performance as water polo is one of the leading sports in Greece.
Carol and Angela scored two goals each in the game and were GB's leading attacking players while Samantha was excellent in her defensive role.
Unfortunately, Charlotte Nichols, Britain's first choice was unable to travel to Portugal due to illness.
