OLD crop prices have remained unchanged although there are signs that things may firm up a little for the remaining grain on farm as a weather market develops.
New crop prices have also remained unchanged, despite improvement in US prices. The problem in the EU is that, as the American markets go up, the import levy is reduced, so Baltic State cereals become cheaper into Europe.
Oilseed prices are slowly improving as hot dry weather is pushing up US soya prices. The only problem here is that, as soon as rain is forecast, the markets will decline.
