Elections are taking place in two Hambleton communites next month.
One seat on Tollerton Parish Council and one on Bedale Town Council will be contested on August 1.
Three candidates are standing for the Tollerton vacancy - Suzanne McIntyre, Pauline Metcalfe and Ann Lesley Thompson. Voting will take place from 8am to 9pm in the village war memorial institute.
Mike Batty and Malcolm Young will contest the Bedale seat, with voting held from 8am to 9pm in Bedale Hall. Both counts will take place immediately after polls close of polls.
