A SPECIAL Summer holiday club is on offer to children aged four to 11 in Darlington.
The sessions include arts and crafts, sports and games.
There will also be trips to the cinema, Life, Beamish Museum, Hall Hill Farm and Blue Reef Aquarium in North Shields.
Based at Haughton Youth Club, in the grounds of Haughton Community School, the club is open from 7.45am until 6pm every weekday throughout the school break, starting on Friday, July 19.
Sessions cost £5 a half-day and £10 for a full day, with discounts available for siblings. An extra £6 charge is made for trips.
The club, which is a non-profit-making organisation, is run by fully trained and council-registered child care workers.
The care continues into the new school year. During term time, the Funtime Club opens at 7.45am to look after children from reception age upwards at the start of the day, dropping them off at school. It also picks children up at the end of the school day and provides fun activities, homework supervision and relaxation time until 6pm.
For a full programme of activities and details about how to book, call organiser Debbi Moore on 0780 185 1022.
