A FLOWER festival is taking place at Holy Trinity Church, in North Ormesby, for the next week.
The festival, called How Great Thou Art, was opened yesterday by the speaker of Middlesbrough Council, Councillor Ken Hall. It will run until Tuesday.
Floral arrangements are based on Bible readings and the Queen's Golden Jubilee. All the proceeds will go towards the Trinity Centre of Excellence Appeal.
The festival will be open tomorrow, between noon and 4pm, with the Parish Eucharist celebrated at 10am by the Reverend Robert Ladds, Bishop of Whitby, followed by sponsored organ playing from noon until 4pm.
On Monday and Tuesday, opening hours are between 10am and 3pm.
