TEN students from the Born to Dance School, in Darlington, performed a series of dance pieces at the Sadberge village fete recently.
The young performers, who were aged between seven and 15, delighting visitors to the event, who included the Mayor of Darlington, Councillor Doris Jones.
Their performance featured ballet, tap, modern dance and acro-gym, a combination of gymnastics and dance, with each girl taking part in two or three of the routines at the fete.
Dance instructor Sue Henderson said: "We often get phone calls asking us to perform and this seemed like a great opportunity to show what we can do.
"The girls were very pleased with their performances and felt it was a great honour to open the fete and perform in front of the mayor."
