WORKERS at a North-East building company are seeing double - and it's all down to Michael and Stephen Proctor.
The identical twins are on a vocational training placement with Jewson Builders Merchants.
They were found the placement by vocational training provider, Protocol Skills, which has centres in Middlesbrough, Sunderland, Newcastle, Durham and Blyth, where the twins are undergoing their training.
Michael and Stephen, aged 17, are studying for a Foundation Modern Apprenticeship in Warehousing, and also recently received their forklift truck licence.
The twins, from Blyth, will spend a year at Jewson, but Protocol Skills hope their good progress will result in them both being offered full-time employment.
Protocol Skills' Blyth centre manager, Lindsay Thornton, who is a twin herself, said: "Michael and Stephen were referred to us by their local careers office and they told us they wanted to be put on a placement together.
"They have made remarkable progress."
