FIREMAN Jonny Regan has survived the final Big Brother nominations of the current series, which were announced last night.
The 29-year-old from Trimdon, County Durham, made it to the final four in the reality TV game show, having already survived three eviction nominations.
The two up for final nomination are male model Alex and Durham University student Tim, who has just finished his final year at Queens Campus in Stockton.
They now face the public vote on Friday.
Whoever survives will join Jonny, Kate and Jade in the last week and a shot at the £70,000 first prize.
The series is due to end the following week, although its makers have not yet ruled out evicting one more person before next Friday, to leave three to face the final public vote.
Alex and Tim, both 23, received three eviction votes each and posh Tim is now the bookies' favourite to get the boot.
Alex, from Hornchurch, Essex, has been up for eviction before but it is the first time that Tim, from Worcester, has faced the public vote.
The graduate knows he is unpopular outside the house after hearing the crowds booing him during PJ's eviction on Friday.
He told Alex: "What's the point of me staying in here if I'm not going to win?"
The show has brought Channel 4 its biggest audiences for two years, figures revealed yesterday.
The station had its biggest weekly share of the TV audience since August 2000 with 12.6 per cent of viewers tuning in, according to unofficial overnight figures.
An average of 5.6 million tuned in to the many Big Brother editions in the past week - up from 4.6 million for the corresponding stage of the game last year.
