The names of some of the men who died in Tuesday's helicopter crash off the cost of Norfolk have been released.
Five of the victims were named as an inquest was opened into their deaths by Great Yarmouth Coroner Keith Dowding.
The men were named as Philip George Stone, 53, of Norwich, Norfolk; Stuart Coggon, 45, of Middlesbrough, Cleveland; Angus MacArthur, 38, from Maryburgh, Ross-shire, Denis Kelleher, 40, from Lytham St Anne's, Lancashire, and Kevin John Taylor, 50, also from Norwich.
The inquest was told the men were identified from numbers on their waterproof survival suits and personal items held inside the suits.
Coroner Mr Dowding inquired about the continuing rescue operations to locate the missing people and the helicopter. Det Supt Chris Grant from Norfolk Police said: ''There's a tremendous amount of effort being put in, not assisted by the environment of the North Sea.
''The priority is about the recovery of those still missing.'' The inquest was adjourned until September 5.
The cause of the crash is yet to be determined.
