King George V produced their best display of the season when they visited second placed Witton Gilbert and made their best score after never dropping a point. This result lifted them from the foot of the Second Division for the first time this season and it dropped the Witton team down to third place.
Witton Gilbert went down by 61 shots against 77 with the rink scores (Witton names first) J. Hewitt 13 A. Mather 23; D. Minns 16 G. Wilkinson 17; W. Sedman 14 P. Wilkins 17; T. Wiseman 18 A.E. Coulson 20.
Despite losing by two points at Stockton, Langley Park remain 12 points clear at the top of the Second Division, with Sherburn Village moving five points ahead of Witton Gilbert.
Leeholme raced 19 points clear at the top of the First Division after they beat the visiting Wingate by 125 shots to 54, but the visitors did manage to take one point for a shared rink. Shotton remain in second place one point ahead of their victporious hosts from Crook Glenholme.
In the Third Division Murton bounced back to the form which has taken them eight points clear when they visited Belmont and won by six points. Belmont went down by 63 shots to 78 with the rinks scores (Belmont names first) J. Moore 22 N. Jubb 12; B. Woods 13 T.W. Todd 22; S. Cooper 11 J. Donaldson 19; T. Lowery 17 R. Spindler 25. Newton Hall and Willington Spectrun share the second spot with Chilton just a point behind them.

First Division leaders, Spennymoor A suffered a four points defeat on their visit to Dean Bank A but still lead the table by five points from Langley Park B with Cockton Hill A a further point adrift but with a match in hand. Dean Bank won by 56 shots to 44 with the rink scores (Dean Bank names first) A. Webber 15 G. Fawcett 13; K. Thompson 22 B. Dobbin 7; W. Watson 19 W. Bell 24.
Leeholme blew the Second Division apart when they visited the leaders, Chilton and never dropped a point. This meant that Leeholme leapt to the top with Chilton two points behind but lead Langley Park by three points.
Cockton Hill B won the top match in the Third Division when they beat former leaders, Bishop Auckland by four points. Shildon Town lead the table by one point with Cockton Hill B three points ahead of Bishop Auckland.

The seven game winning run of Cockton Hill ended when they lost to leaders Spennymoor A.
Leeholme made up ground when they defeated Addison Park 10-0 for the second time this season. Cockton Hill B lost 10-0 to Shildon Town A in the opening match of the season but they gained revenge on the second division league leaders by winning the return 6-4.
