Leeholme B made their first maximum victory in their short history when they entertained Hunwick and took the first four points in convincing style through Adrian Prest, John Taylor, Ray Gill and Mark Brown with Brian Harrison completing the victory by beating Barry Fleming on the black.
The First Division leaders, Fishburn A visited Witton Gilbert and went down by the odd point. The home side took the first three points through John Rooney junior, John Rooney senior and Paul Nord. The visitors fought back to take the last two frames through John Griffin and Charlie Hirst.
The second placed, Old Shildon also went down by the odd point when they visited Brandon. The visitors moved two ahead with wins from Andrew Aisbitt and Jossie Aldworth but then Graeme Jackson and Colin Goodrick levelled the match. In the decider Kevin Sample beat Shildon's Billy Goggins.
Scott Mallaburn of Sherburn Village found the Fishburn table to his liking for he raised the best break in the Second Division to 66 when he took the first frame. Winston Hodgson and Dave Wilson then moved the home side ahead with Adrian Twist levelling the match. In the decider Sherburn's Alan Bower beat Alan Buist.
Crook Belle Vue moved to the top of the Second Division with a two points cushion after they only dropped one point at Spennymoor B, who had Kurt McCormack as their only winner. The Crook winners were Harold Lomax, John Warriner, Arnold Fleming and Gordon Sample.
Langley Park moved into second place in the Second Division after they only dropped one point at Durham City. Kevin Keers, Stephen Coates, Steve Renwick and Ray Coates took points for the Park, whilst Michael Pratt was Durham's lone scorer.
Wheatley Hill A edged within one point of Old Shildon in thirds place in the First Division after they won by the odd point at Newton Aycliffe. Michael Hewitt and Bill Barrigan took the first and last frames for Newton Aycliffe but the visitors went to victory with wins from Dean Bryden, Alan Hall and Jack Wright.
Jeremy Martin was the only Willington winner when they entertained Spennymoor A, who had wins from Ronnie Bateman, John Wilson, Paul Atkinson and Paul Biddle.
Neil Spender put in a 30 break to take Ferryhill's only point on their visit to Shotton Palms. The home winners were Paul Hickman, Barry Hall, John Armstrong and Jimmy Evans.
In the Third Division top of the table clash, Wingate beat the visiting leaders, Crowtrees by the odd point. John Bourne, Steve Allen and Geoff Howe took points for Wingate with Sean Johnston and Neil Phillips replying. This result leaves Crowtrees one point clear at the top.
New Durham moved six points behind Wingate after they only dropped one point on their first ever visit to Tow Law. Doug Watson took the first point for the Lawyers but the visitors then took over and recorded points through Phil Garr, Gary Bowes, Tony Thompson and Thomas Cairns.
Newhouse slipped two points behind Langley Park in third place in the Second Division after they went down by the odd point at Wheatley Hill B. The home side had wins from Jock Frost, Dave Blyth and Tony Ellison with Ian Dinsdale and John Maddox winning for the visitors.
Stanley Central failed to get away from the Second Division's bottom spot when they went down by the odd point to the visiting Meadowfield. The central had wins from Harold Grimes and Frank Foster whilst the visitors had wins from Ian Hodgson, Malcolm Hughes and Norman Smith.
Leeholme A moved away from the foot of the Third Division after they won the decider at Sacriston. Tony Clish put Leeholme ahead only to see Neil Burn and Jeff Evans win for the home side. Barry Shaw levelled the match and then leeholme's Ian North beat Dale Evans in the decider.

Darlington Snooker Club A moved four points clear at the top of the First Division after they beat their hosts, the second placed Hopetown by two points. Despite only collecting one point, Hopetown are six points ahead of Harrowgate Hill, who only dropped one point at Northgate.
The Second Division is much tighter with only one point between three teams. In the top of the table clash the leading Darlington Snooker Club C were held to a draw by the second placed visitors, Bishop Auckland Cricket Club. However Darlington Riley's moved up to share the top spot after they whitewashed the visiting Bishop Auckland Gents B.
