SOUTH Durham and North Yorkshire hunts will be in London this weekend to take part in an overnight vigil outside the Houses of Parliament.
The peaceful demonstration has been going on for months, as a constant reminder of the strong opposition the Government will face it does outlaw hunting with dogs.
A group from the Shildon and District Countryside Movement will also show its support during the vigil.
Angie Vaux, Countryside Alliance North-East chairman, said: "We will stand shifts from 10am on Saturday to 11am on Sunday. There have been people there full time since April and now it is our turn."
Two routes were announced this week to cope with the volume of people expected to attend the Liberty and Livelihood march being held in London on September 22.
Richard Burge, chief executive of the Countryside Alliance, said: "London will probably witness the largest civil liberties' demonstration in the UK's modern history.
