THE Under 18s are looking for an Assistant Manager for the 2002-03 football season.

The Juniors, who are integrated with the senior team that plays in the First Division of the Albany Northern League, are members of the the Fairs Software Tyneside Junior League. They are also participating in the AXA FA Youth Cup - this year, at home to Southport.

This year's side have a hard act to follow as last season's Under 18s won a clean sweep including the Durham County Cup. The side train three times a week. Andrew Muxworthy said: "We have our full squad almost in place. All I require is an Assistant Manager. If some one out there is interested they will get the chance to work with some very talented players, at the beginning of their development."

Mount Pleasant Rangers JFC

The under 11s had three teams in action at a tournament in Nottingham which Rangers "Reds" won convincingly. The results were as follows:-

Mount Pleasant Rangers "Reds" beat Bestwood Park Rangers "B" 3-1. Rangers scorers, Domonic Williams 2 & Nathan Wilson. They then beat Sandacre Town "A" 3-0.Rangers scorers, Nick Petch (Capt), Tom Smalley & Domonic Williams. In the third game they beat Pelican "B" 2-1. Rangers scorer, Nathan Wilson 2. In the semis they played against Mount Pleasant Rangers "Whites" C who, after a hard battle, they beat 4-0. Rangers scorers, Nick Petch, Matthew Maddison, Johhny Blewitt & Domonic Williams.

The semi found the "Reds" pitched against an on form Bestwood Park Rangers "A" team who they beat 3-0. Rangers scorers, Nick Petch, Tom Smalley & Domonic Williams.

They won the final against Pelican "A" 2-1. Rangers scorers, Nick Petch & Nathan Wilson.

Mount Pleasant Rangers "Whites" B results: Pelican "A" 0-4; Bestwood Park Rangers "A" 0-1; Carlton Boys 1-1 (Turnbull); Sandacre Town "B" 2-1 (Turnbull and Johnston).

Mount Pleasant Rangers "Whites" C results: Pelican "B" 0-1; Sandacre Town 0-1; Bestwood Park Rangers "B" 0-1; Mount Pleasant Rangers "Reds" 0-4.
