A FARMER'S wife who is accused of murdering her estranged husband made her first appearance before a judge yesterday.
Jayne Lovegreen, 33, sat with her head bowed through most of her ten-minute appearance at Teesside Crown Court, speaking only to confirm her name.
She did not apply for bail on the charge of murdering her husband, John Alan Lovegreen, 34, who was stabbed to death at his home at Baal Hill Farm, Wolsingham, near Bishop Auckland, County Durham, on Saturday, July 6.
Mrs Lovegreen, from High Etherley, near Bishop Auckland, was remanded in custody by Judge Peter Fox QC, until September 9.
