There were two completely contrasting matches in the Finals of the First Division and Second Division Knock Out Cups.
In the First Division Crook Olde Horse Shoe A only dropped two points against Crook Travellers Rest A, whilst the Second Division Cup went to the last two games before Crook Jelly's Bar A beat Willington Market.
Crook Olde Horse Shoe A cleaned up all the points available in the pool games with wins from Gavin Witton, Richard Walker, David Stephenson, Gerald Parkin and Cliff Owens. The Travellers only points came in the dominoes, where Dave Poulter and Derek Wood won but the Shoe added to their pool points with dominoes points from Jimmy Luke and David Stephenson.
The Second Division Final was neck and neck throughout. The Market had pool singles wins from Gary Trow, Stuart Shillan and Paul Briddick and dominoes points from Micky Toward and Ian Moore. Jelly's made the score five each with pool wins from Andrew Heyes and Andy Palmer to add to the dominoes points from Kevin Carter, Keith Dixon and Andrew Heyes. Jelly's went to victory when Michael Jewitt beat Micky Toward in the final pool game and Ray hall beat Paul Lauder in the final dominoes game.

Division Two: Willington Market 5 Crook Jelly's Bar A 7.
CIU League
Crook Belle Vue moved a point closer to darts league leaders, Cockton Hill after they only dropped one point at Newfield whilst the Hill dropped two at Ferryhill. This leaves Cockton Hill one point in front of Belle Vue, who have a match in hand and a ten points advantage over third placed Byers Green.
There were darts maximums from Trevor Kerr of Byers Green and Kevin Spensley and John Bowran of Cockton Hill. Ray Brown of Ferryhill hit a maximum and a thirteen darts finish, whilst teammate, Phil Nixon hit thirteen and fourteen darts finishes in consecutive legs.
Byers Green lead the dominoes section by four points with Middlestone Moor, Chilton and Cockton Hill sharing second place. The pool section leaders, Cockton Hill have a one point advantage over Ferryhill, who have a match in hand, and the Victoria.

Willington Summer League
Willington Cottles relied on the dominoes games to keep their hopes alive of qualifying for the knock out stages when they managed a home draw against the visiting Willington Commercial. The Commercial now lead the group by four points but have completed their fixtures and need ether Cottles or Sunnybrow Brown Trout to win their final match by a big score to make sure of getting a place in the next round.
Willington Market moved back into contention for the Knock out stage when they only dropped three points to the visiting Willington Black Horse Inn, who scored one darts trebles point and singles dominoes points from Ian Mavin and Ian Williamson. The Market now only need one point from their final match against Willington Club to qualify, whilst the Club only need five to be certain of moving on.
Willington Lion and Unicorn completed their games with a six points victory at Willington Burn. This pushed the Lion and Unicorn five points ahead of Willington Brewer's Droop and Willington Burn, who meet in the final match in this section.
