SWIMMERS made a big splash for charity yesterday at Darlington's Dolphin Centre. Their goal was to raise money for the town's branch of Victim Support.
Money raised at the 12-hour swimathon will help to fund the charity's witness service. A spokesman for Victim Support said the event could become an annual fundraising fixture. About 50 people, aged from ten up to pensionable age, took part in the event.
