A workman found dead inside the chimney of a power station has been identified.
David Jamieson, 54, was found in the stack at Eggborough Power Station, near Selby, North Yorks.
Mr Jamieson, from South Bank, near Middlesbrough, was discovered by colleagues inside a 600ft-high chimney on Friday evening.
He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics. It is believed Mr Jamieson, who was married, fell while working inside the chimney.
Mr Jamieson had been working for Bierrum & Partners, a sub-contracting firm based in the north-east. The company is lining the inside of the chimney with glass fibre in a £60 million project to install flue-gas desulphurisation equipment at the station.
