DURHAM Amateur Rowing club won the Victor Ludorum at the Hexham Jubilee Regatta with a score of 17 points, a clear lead of seven points.
The weather was beautiful and conditions were calm.
Junior scullers Nadine Bruce, Kathryn Frost and Daniel Howie continued to compete with the success that has characterised their sculling this year.
Nadine, J14, won the women's novice doubles with Tees partner S Francis. Kathryn won WJ13 1X and Daniel won MJ12 1X, MJ14 2X with D Moore, WVet 4X+ coxing.
G Frost (J18) won MNov 1X and C Howie won MJ10 1X.
The veteran ladies double of Lynn Pain and Hazel Stainforth raced impressively to win at women's S3 level and the coxed quad sculls was won by veteran ladies C Edwards, S Wareing, K Howie, G Gilbert, cox D Howie. M Hogan won WNov 1X.
Men's veterans were represented with single wins at Vet novice J Applegarth, Vet C A Jaggard, Vet D A Jaggard.
C Hole, P Stephenson, D Gordon, B Hudson, D Howie, cox, won MVet 4+ E/F.
All winners received specially created pewter medals.
Tyne At home winners: D Howie MJ12 1X, A Lackenby WJ15 1X, H Stainforth Wvet 1X.
Peterborough winners: WS2 2X T Nelson, N Burgess. Vet D2 M Stevens, P Stanley.
