ST Patrick's RC Primary School in Thornaby has become the first school in the borough of Stockton to be awarded Activemark Gold accreditation from Sport England.
The award recognises schools that have a healthy and sporting curriculum.
St Patrick's success has included defeating 50 schools in the Middlesbrough diocese to win the Catholic Primary Schools' Football Cup and its athletes took gold, sliver and bronze at the Cleveland Primary Schools Athletic meeting, held at Middlebrough's Clairville Stadium.
But the school's sporting success does not end on land. St Patrick's team also won the Primary School's Bellboating competition.
