COMPETITION winners from an event held to educate children about the dangers of burns and scalds have been presented with their prizes.
Accident and emergency staff from Darlington Memorial and Bishop Auckland General hospitals organised the event.
Prizes were given to youngsters who won colouring competitions, and to Mollie Ambler and Dan Scholey, both five, who won the Name the Teddy contest.
The three-year-olds' section of the colouring competition was won by Anna Curran, with Erin Hughes in second place.
First prize for four-year-olds was won by Emily Carroll, with Phillippa Nelson second. Molly Cunningham won the five-year-olds group, with second place going to Callum Adair.
Presentations were made at Darlington Memorial Hospital's accident and emergency department.
