MEN from ethnic minority groups are invited to take part in a course to improve their English and job search skills.
The 60-hour course, funded by the Adult and Community Learning Fund, will run from August 29 to October 4, with sessions held in the Stockton International Family Centre, Skinner Street, on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings, when two sessions will focus on English for speakers of other languages.
The third session will involve looking for job and preparing CVs, as well as visits to workplaces organised by Action Team for Jobs.
The course leads to accreditation through City and Guilds Pitman.
