FAMILIES enjoyed the summer sun at a fun-day held at Stockton Fire Station on Saturday.
Among the attractions were vintage fire vehicles, ladder rescues, barbecues and rides in a little Dennis fire engine.
The event was opened by the Mayor of Stockton, Councillor Jean O'Donnell, Chief Fire Officer John Doyle and guest of honour, five-year-old Rosie Henry, the daughter of a Northallerton firefighter.
A cheque was presented to Rosie, who suffers from a life-limiting neuro-degenerative condition, following a fundraising event earlier in the year, which raised £462.
All the proceeds from Saturday's event have been donated to to the Fire Service Benevolent Fund and the station's Welfare Club.
