EMPLOYEES at a caravan retailer have been left in no doubt that the company's website has wide appeal.
One potential customer from Afghanistan contacted Barrons through the site and other recent inquiries came from as far away as India and Australia.
One customer from Russia spotted a used caravan on the website, came over to England, bought it, and towed it back.
Barrons, which has a store at Burtree Gate, near Darlington, launched one of the first websites for the caravan industry in 1996.
Since then the site, www.caravandeals.co.uk, has grown and reaches up to 16,000 visitors a week
