THE Teesdale branch of Cancer Research UK is encouraging people to join a trip to the Jaguar factory, at Halewood, near Liverpool.
Each year, members of the charity raise thousands of pounds for its work by organising trips and tours to various attractions around the country.
The latest trip will take place on September 16, and costs £15, which includes return coach travel and entry to the factory.
The coach will collect passengers at Newsham, Scotch Corner, Darlington, and Barnard Castle, but organisers can arrange to pick people up from other locations on route to the factory.
Charity campaigner Ian Douglas said the trips were hugely successful in raising funds.
He said: "All money raised by the Teesdale committee is used by the charity on research here in the North-East in the fight against all forms of cancer."
