A FORD Anglia, similar to the one owned by the Dursleys in the Harry Potter stories, will be one of the highlights at next month's Kirkleatham car rally.
Young Harry Potter fans are being encouraged to attend the event in fancy dress. There is a prize competition and children can pose for photographs with the car and an owl, courtesy of Kirkleatham Owl Centre. A backdrop showing Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry will also be used.
The 105E model pictured here is owned by Don McKenzie, who is a member of the Ford Anglia Owners' Club. He said it rolled off the production line in 1961 and has a Caribbean turquoise and white finish.
Mr McKenzie is a regular exhibitor at the annual rally, which takes place at Kirkleatham Hall Museum on August 10 and 11.
