SHOWBUSINESS experts last night warned Big Brother contestant Jonny to make the most of his 15 minutes of fame when he leaves the house.
An expert from publicist Max Clifford's company said Jonny "lacked charisma" and should seek his fortune before he becomes yesterday's news.
Mary Kearney, a spokesman for Mr Clifford, advised Jonny to get a good agent if he didn't want to be brushed under the carpet.
And she predicted that Jade and Alex would be the real money spinners when they left the house.
She said: "Alex is a model and Jade is a real personality. They are the ones who will make the most money.
"But Jonny and Kate are no way in the same personality league as, say, Helen and Brian from Big Brother 2."
And a North-based showbusiness agent, who did not want to be named, said: "Jonny needs to get maximum exposure as soon as he leaves the house.
"He needs to keep the exposure going if he wants to earn money. He could sign up to be a presenter on a TV show, which could earn him in excess of £100,000, or play gigs with his band, which could earn him £1,000 a time while he is still a big name.
"Personal appearances - opening shops and the like - could also earn him £1,000 a time. But he needs to make the most of his fame because he'll be fish and chip paper in a couple of weeks."
Last night, Jonny's girlfriend of eight years, Joanne Llewellyn, said his only ambition was to get a few more gigs in the North-East for his band, Reagan, which has already entertained Prince William and Prime Minister Tony Blair.
She said: "Jonny might well want to just come back home and lie low for a while. He loves the job he does as a firefighter and I think he will want to carry on with that.
"He hasn't got any major ambitions - I think the one thing he would want to bring out of Big Brother would be a few more gigs around the North-East because singing is what he loves doing."
Jonny's parents, Margaret and John Regan, will appear on Channel 4 breakfast show RI:SE this morning, with Joanne making an appearance on GMTV, before the winner of the show is announced today.
