OLD crop wheat prices are slowly improving as the weather delays any prospects of early harvest. New crop prices have generally remained unchanged as the generally bullish American markets are countered by the availability of FSU grain.
Oilseed prices have improved, but are very volatile as they react to weather forecasts in US. Some US traders are beginning to wonder if their market should be as firm as it is because price improvements could significantly increase production elsewhere and reduce demand.
