A STRIKING series of sculptures have taken up temporary residence in the grounds of one of the region's best known stately homes.
An exhibition of contemporary and traditional sculpture, presented by the Frank T Sabin Gallery, is on display at Castle Howard, near Malton, North Yorkshire.
Life-size bronzes, as well as smaller works of art for the home, have been brought to the region by some of Britain's leading sculptors, including Sally Arnup, of York, who specialises in animal designs.
The exhibition will be on show at Castle Howard until Sunday, and is open from 10am to 5pm.
