The shock of the season came at darts when leaders, Cockton Hill when they beaten at home by the odd point by Crowtrees. This cost them the top spot as Crook Belle Vue, who whitewashed the visiting Middlestone Moor, took over with a three points advantage and a match in hand. Cockton Hill lead Byers Green, who also have a match in hand, by nine points. The only darts maximums came from Barry Shippam of Chilton and Kevin Spensley of Cockton Hill.
The dominoes section leaders Byers Green still lead the table by two points from Chilton.
Crook Belle Vue and Cockton Hill share top spot in the pool section.

Willington Summer League
Willington Club just managed enough points against the visiting Willington Market to oust Willington Black Horse from the knock out quarter finals as the team with the least points from the qualifying leagues.
The top scorers in the last qualifying week were Keith Newton of the Brewer's Droop with a 151 finish and Colin Davison of the Burn with check outs of 142 and 110.
The results from the last week were Sunnybrow Brown Trout 11 Willington Cottles 5; Willington Club 7 Willington Market 9; Willington Brewer's Droop 10 Willington Burn Inn 6.
The final qualifying league positions are: League A - Brown Trout 35 points; Cottles 31; Commercial 30. League B - Market 37; Willington Club 31; Black Horse Inn 28. League C - Brewer's Droop 35; Burn Inn 31; Lion and Unicorn 30.
Willington Ladies League
After 13 years in office Margaret Todd has decided to retire from the treasurer's post in the league. The new officials elected at the AGM were Susan Tulip as Chairperson, Norma Davison as Secretary and Brenda Hudspeth as Treasurer.
Ten teams entered the league for the coming season, which will begin on Thursday, 15 August. Teams are Willington Market, Willington Club A and B, Willington Black Horse A and B, Sunnybrow Brown Trout, Willington Cottles, Willington Lion and Unicorn, Willington Burn and Hunwick Joiners Arms.
