Organisers of Romaldkirk Parish Fair are hoping for sunshine on Saturday.
The event will feature fell races, exhibitions, a parade, fancy dress competition and music by Stanhope Silver Band. Local historian Alan Wilkinson will be guest of honour.
The fair starts at 1pm with a fancy dress competition, followed at 1.20pm by a parade. At 1.30pm, stalls and games will open on the village green. Fell races for juniors and seniors start at 2.30pm.
