RESIDENTS of coastal communities in North Yorkshire are being urged to come up with ideas on how to improve their towns and villages.
The county council's Yorkshire Coast and Moors area committee has a budget this year of nearly £70,000.
In the past year, the committee has made grants to various groups, including £2,000 to the Sleights Kids Club towards the cost of fitting out a mobile classroom.
Nearly £1,900 was awarded to a project to create a youth theatre.
