THRILL-SEEKERS can enjoy some free fun and help a leading lung charity.
Volunteers are needed to take part in a zip slide event staged by Breathe North, the regional arm of the British Lung Foundation.
They are required to take a daring ride on a 550ft giant zip slide, which will be mounted on the Town Moor, Newcastle, on Saturday, September 14.
No experience is required as full training will be given on the day by experts.
More than 150 people are expected to take part in the event, with no charge for all those raising £145 or more in sponsorship.
