A RETIRED headteacher who has devoted his new-found spare time to painting watercolours has unveiled his latest works.
Ken Charlton, from Billingham, is exhibiting his work at the Discovery Centre at Seaton Holme, in Easington Village.
Mr Charlton, a former headteacher of Darlington's Hurworth School, retired in 1995, since when he has combined his painting skills with an interest in photography, producing images for calendars and Christmas cards for the Butterwick Children's Hospice, in Stockton.
The exhibition runs at Seaton Holme until Sunday, September 8.
