A CALL has been made to trace the class of '55 from the former Durham Girls' Grammar School.
Several old girls who began at the Sands site, now known as Durham Sixth Form Centre, in September 1955, have arranged a get-together.
One of the organisers, Margaret Minto, better known by former classmates as Hill, said 25 ex-pupils have so far been traced.
The reunion is planned for Saturday, September 28, when an afternoon visit to the former school is planned to be followed by a dinner at Mount Oswald Golf Club, in Durham.
Mrs Minto can be contacted on 0191-384 3285.
