PREPARATIONS are under way for the annual Stockton Summer Show.
The show, organised by Stockton Borough Council's events team, will take place at Preston Park from Saturday, August 24, to Monday, August 26, with equestrian events starting on Friday, August 23.
The show marquee will be the central attraction on the Saturday when the cabaret fundraising evening takes place in aid of the Butterwick Hospice.
Local favourites The Wildcats of Kilkenny will be performing. Tickets cost £8.50 and include a barbecue and are available by contacting (01642) 624231.
Attractions at the summer show also include street theatre, arena displays, children's rides and a fun fair.
Live entertainment will be provided by Bafochi with Ballet Folclorico de Chile, who are performing at the Billingham Folklore Festival. Admission is £1.50 and £1.00 concessions. Parking is free.
