THE owners of a Darlington caf are celebrating their ten years in business a month early after being included in a guide book.
Ian and Rosie Watson, who own Crusty's, in Northgate, will have chalked up ten years on their menu board next month.
But the celebrations came early last week, when a team producing the BBC Travel Guide, which features 100 cafes, called in.
Ian said: "They use local BBC radio stations and get people to ring in and say where their favourite cafes are.
"People must have been ringing in to recommend us."
Two years ago, Crusty's came third in a best breakfast competition organised by The Northern Echo's Eating Owt column.
The BBC Travel Guide is due to be published later in the year
