YOUNGSTERS are being offered the chance to take part in a range of activities to beat the boredom during the long summer break.
The Summer Opportunities for Children and Communities programme aims to give eight to 16-year-olds in the borough of Stockton the opportunity to try new activities.
Castle Eden Walkway Planetarium is one of the attractions, and children taking part in the scheme will be visiting it on Friday, Monday and Wednesday.
Today there is a visit to Thornaby fire station and on Tuesday a visit to Stockton fire station.
Castlegate Quay Watersports Centre is the venue for river-based activities each day next week, from Monday to Friday.
