THE winners of Stockton Borough Council's parks and countryside 2002 garden competition will be revealed later this month.
The winners will be presented with their prizes at a presentation event on Thursday, August 29.
More than 30 gardeners from Stockton and the surrounding areas competed for the annual awards.
Categories this year included best garden, pensioner garden, hanging baskets, patio, rear yard, local authority, commercial interest and community effort.
Judging took place earlier this month and at the award ceremony there will be a slide show at the awards ceremony at Preston Hall Museum.
The gardeners who took part in this year's competition have been invited to the presentation.
Stockton's mayor Councillor Jean O'Donnell will be at the ceremony to present the winners with their awards and certificates.
