Chris Glasper turned in a remarkable performance for Tudhoe in their home game with Crook Town when he bowled all seven victims ending with the outstanding figures of seven for ten.
When Tim Smalley claimed two wickets for 14 runs from the other end, Crook Town were all out for 32, but even so, Tudhoe lost five wickets, four of them to Cooper, for 12 runs, before they won.
Robinson was another bowler in good form for Brandon and he claimed four wickets for six runs reducing Hunwick to 50 for six which included 20 by Pratt. Hind gave Robinson support with two for 15. Michael Fort contributed 20 and Andrew Johnson 22 not out to Brandon's nine wickets victory.
Esh Winning overtook the Langley Park total of 95 for five with eight wickets in tact when Chris Hurst finished undefeated with a superb 60. Both Esh Winning wickets were taken by Andrew Smith at a cost of 24 runs.
When Langley Park batted first Coates was their main scorer with 23 while for Esh, Prested and Kimmins both picked up a couple of wickets.
Newton Aycliffe had eight wickets to spare visiting Mainsforth who totalled 84 for the loss of six wickets which included 31 from Pattison. Maddison returned two for five and Williams two for 23 in the Aycliffe attack before Reynolds (24) and Bainbridge (20) led the visitors to victory. Sweeney captured two wickets for 28 runs in the Mainsforth attack.
Willis Elliott Cup
Burnopfield progressed with an eight wickets victory over Blaydon who were all out for 82 when Lawrence Davey claimed four wickets for 19 runs in five overs and Adam Tinnion took three wickets for one run from the seven balls he sent down.
When they replied Burnopfield again had Mark Stoneman and Justin Temperley in good form. Stoneman hit one six and three boundaries in an unbeaten 35 and Temperley had a couple of fours scoring 27.
Burnopfield won the Barry Hicks Memorial Trophy when they played Leadgate at Shotley Bridge on Sunday morning.
When Leadgate made first use of the wicket they ended with 82 for five which included 28 by Dettnar, but when man of the match Chris Snowball finished undefeated on 42, Burnopfield celebrated winning the trophy by a seven wickets margin.
