A "TRAVELLING theme park" will descend on a North Yorkshire town next month, complete with a host of fairground rides.
The event, at Catterick Garrison, will be held next to the Tesco supermarket from Wednesday, September 4, to Sunday, September 8.
It will feature white knuckle rides, waltzers, dodgems and more, from 5pm to 9pm, Wednesday to Friday, and 1pm onwards on the Saturday and Sunday.
Organiser Paul Evans, of P and LA Evans Family Funfairs, of Shildon, County Durham, said it would be safe for youngsters because the car park had been hired from the Army and was securely fenced.
Alpha Radio's roadshow will also be on hand.
