A SUPPORT service for teen-agers has helped 199 young people since opening its doors just over a month ago.
Connexions County Dur-ham aims to bring together experts who can help 13 to 19-year-olds with any problems they are likely to face, ranging from low self-esteem to homelessness.
Connexions was formerly known as the Careers Service, but has relaunched and moved from North Road, Durham, to Millennium Place, next to the city's Gala Theatre.
Despite helping nearly 200 people since opening on July 9, local manager Alan Lockyear is concerned that people who have used the service before may not be aware of the name change.
He said: "It's important that young people in the area realise that the Connexions service has relocated from their previous base in Bridge House."
The new premises are also accessible to people in wheelchairs.
