A TEAM of young dancers has been making good use of the summer holidays.
The girls have been visiting the Evelyn Witcombe Dance School, at York, to learn a variety of dance forms.
Evelyn Whitcombe, who runs the school, said she had been surprised by the number of youngsters who have attended workshops at St Andrew's Church, Huntington.
The girls are getting ready to put on a dance routine entitled the Magic Box for a performance called Now This is Dance, which will be staged at the Joseph Rowntree Theatre, in York, next year.
Money raised by the performance will go to York Against Cancer and St Andrew's Church.
