TODDLERS from Stockton are taking a fairy tale trip to Nature's World later this month.
The youngsters will dress up as their favourite story characters, using masks, paints and costumes.
They will then take their fancy dress tour round the centre to blow down the Little Pigs' straw and stick houses, trip across the Billy Goat Gruff Bridge and visit Goldilock's cottage.
A magical trip will end with an open-air storytime in a new storytelling circle.
The visit, on Friday, August 30, is part of a Summer Storytelling programme organised by Stockton Borough Council.
Its Write to Read project, taking in youngsters in Parkfield, Hardwick and Ragworth, features storytellers, musicians and illustrators bringing stories alive.
Vanessa Housley, development worker for the project, said: "The Write to Read project aims to extend speaking, reading, writing and listening skills with all ages.
"As well as improving literacy skills, children and parents have had a fantastic time over the last few weeks."
